Synthetic

The program realizes projects and supports creation of new works, based on synthesis of different forms of contemporary culture: art, music, theatre, dance. Blending and blurring of the genre boundaries, building of a dialogue between image, sound, motion and text, discovering new formats of representation – this is the reaction to the “synthetic” development vector of the world culture and returning to the concept of “transcultural express”, devised by Lubov Saprykina for the Nizhny Novgorod Arsenal in the year 2000.
